After the working visit to Sailung, it was clear that most of the school children were living in an unhealthy home situation. The cooking is done on an open wood fire in the living room.
The school board has made an effort to get and distribute the cooking stoves in Sailung. Unbelievable how fast all this went. Together they also took care of the installations. We soon hope to be able to make more families happy with a cooking stove so that they will no longer be required to cook or heat on an open fire. Moreover, only half the amount of wood is needed.
